Gold for Warwick iGEM!

Warwick iGEM represented the University of Warwick as part of the international genetic engineering competition iGEM, held in Boston 24-28 October. The team of very enthusiastic and bright undergraduate students won a gold medal for their Safe Water project, Ripple, a fantastic recognition of the hard work put in by everyone. Dr Chris Corre and Dr Emzo De Los Santos were the main academic leads alongside Professor Alfonso Jaramillo. Team members were: Gurpreet Dhaliwal, Jack LawrenceJames O’BrienJanvi Ahuja, Jonathan Whiteside, Olivor Holman, Ray Evans and Alizah Khalid from the Warwick School of Life Sciences, Kurt Hill (Computer Science), Laura Mansfield (Global Sustainable Development)and Ong Han (Law)
